Popcorn
Not to be confused with a previous selection from Colby Ridge, this month we feature Colby’s Kettle Corn based out of Salt lake City. Their popcorns are prepared in small batches and are true kettle corns that are stirred by hand in authentic steel kettles. This month we feature four big bags of the only four flavors they offer: Salty Sweet Addiction, Chili Cheese Obsession, Cinnamon Sugar Sensation and finally (and perfect for the holidays), their Peppermint Frost, featuring a white chocolate and peppermint coating.
Jerky
Jim Davis, the founder of "Wild Ride" beef jerky, grew up as a fourth generation Texas cattle rancher, in a community where beef jerky was a part of everyday life. Each family made their own beef jerky from carefully guarded family recipes. As Jim grew older, he found that there was not a jerky on the market like the tender, delicious beef jerky he remembered from his youth. So, determined to make beef jerky the way it was meant to be, he created "Wild Ride" beef jerky. They utilize a patented tenderization process that can only be found in "Wild Ride" beef jerky.
Potato Chips
Beer Chips are a really good kettle chip that is seasoned with a nice combination of sugar and salt and a very subtle beer flavor. This month we bring you a larger sized bag of these yummy chips as well as a larger sized bag of their Chip Shots, a margarita flavored potato chip.
Pappadums
Paul Jaggi, founder and president of Passion Foods, was inspired by the memory of his mother to create his line of unique specialty foods reminiscent of the quality ingredients his mother insisted on when he was growing up. Baji" (BAH-jee) is a term of endearment meaning "mom" in many parts of India. Papadums are a unique snack native to India that are in many ways similar to a potato chip. This month we feature all four of their flavors: Tangy Cilantro, Mango Chutney, Traditional Tandoori and our favorite, Creamy Yogurt Dill
Chips and Salsa
For centuries the Mayans of the Yucatan and the Arawaks of the Caribbean blended tomatoes, onions and spices into a concoction we know today as salsa. Captain Rodney has captured this blend in a salsa that combines the best of the Caribbean. Mixed in the spirit of the Arawak, with Yucatecan spices and the Golden Jamaican Scotch Bonnet Pepper, Captain Rodney’s salsa can be used as a relish with beans, vegetables or meat and may be best when served on tortilla chips.
Our chip selection this month comes from R.W. Garcia, a San Jose based company that has been specializing in premium tortilla chips since 1982. This month we bring you their Classic Blue Corn Tortilla Chips.
